Montview ADHD coaching & Speech Therapy provides personalized service to adult clients with a range of cognitive, communication and swallowing needs. We offer in-person and telehealth sessions to maximize client access and functional outcomes. We work closely with referring providers to deliver coordinated, client-centered care.

ADHD coaching is a type of support that helps people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) manage their lives and reach their goals. ADHD coaches are trained professionals who create customized programs to help clients address the challenges they face due to ADHD. They provide regular support, encouragement, and motivation, and help clients develop skills and action plans to improve their daily habits and activities. ADHD coaching may be effective people with no diagnosis, but a desire to become more organized and efficient. It may also be useful for people with a variety of mental health conditions.
Speech therapy services are needed by people who have have trouble with talking, listening or reading, impairments in clarity of thinking or memory, hoarse voice, troubles swallowing or certain functional breathing conditions like paradoxical vocal cord dysfunction. Often these problems start because of an injury, a stroke, an infection, a tumor, surgery, or a progressive disorder. Therapy is short-term and aimed at helping the client overcome or adjust to a relatively new diagnosis.
David White is a skilled speech pathologist and coach helping adults with cognitive and communication complaints. He became aware that his understanding of how the brain works and the techniques of rehabilitation therapy can help people with ADHD and other executive function troubles. He started Montview to meet clients where they are. His clients say that he listens, makes them feel safe and heard. He encourages and challenges them to new successes. He offers practical and insightful interventions to enable clients to improve their lives.
David has been a speech pathologist for 24 years. He obtained his master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The Ohio State University and was a National Institute of Health Trainee. He practices in hospital ICUs, outpatient clinics, and home health. He has experience in healthcare leadership. He has published research on how we use melody and intonation of speech to understand the meaning of words in context and on how intubation for respiratory failure affects swallowing. David is a hiker, camper, cyclist, meditator, dog and cat parent and partner.
